Our chairside assistants are registered dental assistants licensed in the State of California with expertise in the specialty of orthodontics. Our assistants work directly with the doctors to implement the patient’s treatment plan.
Our front desk staff members have a broad knowledge and understanding of orthodontic treatment. We are happy to answer any questions that may arise during your care. The staff regularly attends continuing education courses to stay current on the latest techniques. Gaby
Gaby has been in the orthodontic field since 1991 and joined our team in 2002. She loves meeting our new patients and following them through their orthodontic treatment from start to finish. She enjoys the interaction with our patients as well as the entire staff to help create a fun atmosphere in the office. Gaby is also our dental awareness program coordinator as well as our marketing coordinator. When she is not working on our social media content and promoting what makes Mt. Diablo Orthodontics unique, she enjoys traveling, reading and spending time with her family and her pugs “Oti” and “Bella”.
Michelle
Michelle is an awesome team member! She began her career in the healthcare field in 2008 and lucky for us she switched to orthodontics. In her spare time, she loves to travel to the Pacific Northwest and take weekend trips to Pioneer with her husband Steven. Michelle has 2 lovely cats that she adores. Michelle loves meeting new people and interacting with patients! She is excited to be in the Orthodontic field and being a part of our dental community!
Stephanie
We are proud to have Stephanie as part of our Team. Her bubbly and happy personality make her a great fit for our practice. She joined us with over 25 years of orthodontic experience. In her spare time, she loves hiking and being outdoors. Stephanie also enjoys cooking for her friends and family and spending time with her two wonderful children Jack and Riley and Beau the family dog.
Leah, RDA
CHAIRSIDE ASSISTANT
Leah came to us from the ophthalmology field which she was in for several years but she always wanted to get into the dental profession like her sister-in-law, our very own Veronica. She jumped at the chance when we finally had an opening. She has proven to be such an awesome addition to our team. You can find Leah at the front desk as well as working on patients. She is an avid San Jose Sharks fan and enjoys hiking, paddle boarding, yoga and camping. She loves weekend getaways with her boyfriend Ryan and spending time with her dog Sampson.
Maria, RDA
Maria embarked on her journey in the dental field back in 2019, simultaneously pursuing her Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) designation while serving as our Sterilization Coordinator. We take immense pride in her recent achievement of obtaining her RDA earlier this year, and she is now fully immersed in providing care to our patients. Maria has developed a passion for our specialty, finding joy in connecting with both patients and their families. Outside of her professional life, Maria cherishes moments with her family and enjoys exploring the city. A devoted fan of Harry Potter and Disney, she also channels her creativity through makeup experimentation and has a keen interest in the field of orthodontics.
Veronica, RDA
Veronica has been in the dental field since 2010. While she has worked in general dentistry and oral surgery, she enjoys being a part of the orthodontic field most of all. Veronica loves the process of creating a healthy and beautiful smile from start to finish. When she isn’t in the office, she enjoys hiking with her adorable dog, Smokey, baking sweet treats, creating awesome things on her cricket and going on trips with her amazing husband Jordan and spending time with her baby Dominic.
Tamara
Tamara started her career in pediatric dentistry in 1989 and she joined our team in 1993. She is always upbeat, positive and brings closeness and a sense of family to our office. She enjoys camping, paddle boarding and spending time with her family. She loves her two dogs Mali, Shyloh and her cat Milo. Tamara and her husband are avid A’s fans and they both enjoy renovating their home and gardening.
Kim
Kim has been in the dental field since 1992 and she truly loves the specialty of orthodontics. She joined our team in 2014. She is originally from Canada and she enjoys going back to visit her family and friends often. She loves to read, bake and spend time with her daughter. Kim and her husband love weekend getaways and are huge San Jose Sharks and San Francisco 49er fans.
Laurie
Laurie has been in the dental field since 1989 and she joined our team in 1996. She is a valuable asset to our team because she wears so many hats in our office. Laurie keeps us organized and takes care of our office administration. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, walking, traveling as well as spending time with her family and friends.
Felicia
Felicia has been in the dental field since 1982. She has been with us since 2011. Felicia always meets our patients and families with a smile and adds a happy and bubbly personality to our office atmosphere. If you look around our office you may just find some of her cute artwork on our bulletin boards! In her spare time, she enjoys writing and art, and it is no surprise she has an exceptional eye for decorating and fashion. She is a true asset and integral part of our team!
Valerie, RDA
Valerie has been affectionately caring for patients since 1986. She truly shines in what she does as a chairside assistant and enjoys learning all she can about orthodontics and how to better care for patients. Valerie enjoys fishing and weekend getaways with her husband. She loves going to concerts, and especially loves Blues music. She has a dog, a cat and a bird that get along harmoniously.
Stacy, RDA, OA
Stacy has been in the dental field since 2003 and is one of our newest team members! Her favorite part of orthodontics is watching patient’s confidence grow and their smiles transform. She believes everyone deserves a beautiful smile! Stacy loves swimming, riding bikes and gardening but her favorite thing to do is spending time with her two children Kenzie and Brody.
Suzanne
Suzanne has been in the orthodontic field for over 30 years. After taking some time off she has rejoined our practice which adds up to 18 + years with us! We are super excited to have her back. She has always been a special part of our ortho family. When she is not working she loves to spend time traveling with her family. Suzie enjoys the outdoors! Going camping and gardening is just a few of her favorite things to do. We love that she has a happy and positive personality that brightens everyone’s day!
Angie
Angie brings her love for art into the world of orthodontics. She loves to draw and is very creative! With a background in the field of phlebotomy, she knows that every detail counts when it comes to patient care. Her keen eye for detail and artistic sensibilities make her an invaluable asset to our team. Angie understands the importance of maintaining a sterile and safe environment. She applies her medical knowledge to ensure our orthodontic procedures meet the highest standards of hygiene.
Angie also cherishes moments spent with her family, especially her three nephews and one niece, which includes an amazing set of triplets!
