Our chairside assistants are registered dental assistants licensed in the State of California with expertise in the specialty of orthodontics. Our assistants work directly with the doctors to implement the patient’s treatment plan.
Our front desk staff members have a broad knowledge and understanding of orthodontic treatment. We are happy to answer any questions that may arise during your care. The staff regularly attends continuing education courses to stay current on the latest techniques. We are all committed to providing our patients with the highest standard of care and the most enriching experience. We work as a team of “people specialists” to help you in every way we can.

Our Prized Team Members
Gaby
Gaby has been in the orthodontic field since 1991 and joined our team in 2002. She loves meeting our new patients and following them through their orthodontic treatment from start to finish. She enjoys the interaction with our patients as well as the entire staff to help create a fun atmosphere in the office.
Gaby is also our dental awareness program coordinator as well as our marketing coordinator. When she is not working on our social media content and promoting what makes Mt. Diablo Orthodontics unique, she enjoys traveling, reading and spending time with her family and her pugs “Oti” and “Bella”.
Michelle
Michelle is a wonderful and versatile member of our orthodontic team. Known for her soft-spoken personality and genuine care for others, she has a special way of connecting with patients especially children helping them feel comfortable and confident throughout their visit.
Michelle is a true multitasker and plays an important role in many areas of the office. You may see her at the front desk welcoming patients, assisting with marketing efforts, or working as a treatment coordinator helping new patients get started on their orthodontic journey. Her attention to detail and calm, caring approach make her an invaluable part of our team.
Outside of the office, Michelle enjoys traveling, taking weekend trips with her husband, Steven, and spending time with her beloved cats. She is passionate about orthodontics and is proud to be part of our dental community.
Leilani
Leilani brings her warm personality and attention to detail to our team as our Sterilization Coordinator. With a year of prior experience as a financial coordinator in the dental field and studies at Diablo Valley College, she’s passionate about providing a safe and welcoming environment for both patients and team members. Leilani is eager to continue growing in the dental field and is always looking for opportunities to learn and expand her skills.
Outside the office, her life is just as vibrant—she’s a proud pet mom to a Frenchie named Pretty Girl, a tabby cat named Dior, and a red-eared slider turtle named Marley. A former varsity soccer player all four years of high school, Leilani brings that same drive and team spirit into her work. She’s the middle child of three siblings, a lover of all things baby pink, and enjoys shopping, reading thrillers, learning new things, and spending quality time with her family. Leilani’s energy, dedication, and passion make her a valued part of our team!
Leah, RDA
CHAIRSIDE ASSISTANT
Leah joined our team in 2019 and is an invaluable member of our practice. She seamlessly balances her role at the front desk with assisting patients as a Registered Dental Assistant, always bringing dedication, professionalism, and a warm, welcoming presence. Patients, especially kids love Leah for her kind, caring nature and the genuine attention she gives to everyone she meets.
Outside of the office, Leah enjoys staying active and spending time outdoors. You’ll often find her hiking, paddle boarding, practicing yoga, or camping. She’s also a big sports fan who loves cheering on the San Francisco Giants and the San Jose Sharks. On weekends, Leah enjoys traveling and
taking getaways with her boyfriend, Ryan, as well as spending quality time with family. Her positivity,
compassion, and friendly demeanor make her a pleasure to work alongside, and her ability to connect
with patients of all ages makes her someone they truly look forward to seeing.
Maria, RDA
began her journey in the dental field in 2019, serving as our Sterilization Coordinator while working toward her Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification. We are incredibly proud of her achievement in
earning her RDA in 2023, and she is now fully involved in providing excellent care to our patients. She helps out at the front desk one day a week, and when you visit the office, you’ll often see her artistic touch on display. Maria enjoys creating welcome boards and birthday boards that add a cheerful, personal feel to our space. Maria has developed a true passion for our specialty and loves building connections with patients and their families.
Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with her family and exploring the city. A big fan of Harry Potter and Disney, she also expresses her creativity through makeup artistry and has a growing interest in the field of
orthodontics.
Veronica, RDA
Veronica, has been dedicated to the field of dentistry since 2010 and has been an invaluable member of our office for over a decade. As our Lead Registered Dental Assistant, she is highly detail-oriented and plays a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care while supporting the daily operations of our
practice, including managing and ordering all dental supplies. Known for her precision and reliability, Veronica is an excellent assistant who takes pride in guiding patients through every step of their orthodontic journey, helping them achieve healthy, confident smiles from start to finish.
Outside the office, Veronica enjoys hiking, baking, and channeling her creativity through crafting with her Cricut. She cherishes time spent with her rescued German Shepherd, Solar, and loves creating new memories while exploring new adventures with her husband, Jordan. Above all, Veronica values quality time with her two children, Dominic and Jameson, and treasures every moment with her family.
Tamara
is the cornerstone of our front office, helping the team work together seamlessly. She wears many hats each day, coordinating staff schedules, managing time off, and supporting the front desk team to ensure the office stays organized and welcoming. Tamara began her journey in pediatric dentistry in 1989 and became an integral part of our team in 1993. Known for her infectious positivity and uplifting spirit, she fosters the warm,
family-like atmosphere that makes our office special.
Outside of work, Tamara enjoys glamping and paddle boarding, especially when sharing those adventures with family and friends. Her compassionate nature extends to animal rescue, and her home is happily shared with one loyal dog and four beloved cats. Alongside her
husband, she loves cheering on baseball games, renovating their home, and tending to their gardens.
Kim
Kim has been a part of the dental field since 1992 and brings a genuine passion for orthodontics to everything she does. She joined our team in 2014 and has since become an integral part of our office, known for her reliability, warmth, and dedication to both patients and teammates. Originally from Canada, Kim enjoys traveling back often to visit family and friends.
In the office, Kim is the friendly face that helps set the tone for a welcoming experience. She’s known for building authentic relationships with patients and making everyone feel comfortable from the
moment they walk through the door. Kim also keeps our front office running smoothly by managing supply ordering and she has a talent for finding the best deals.
Outside of work, Kim loves to read and bake, especially sourdough, creating beautiful homemade breads. She enjoys spending time with her daughter and taking weekend getaways with her husband.
A devoted fan of the San Jose Sharks and San Francisco 49ers, Kim is also a true pet lover whose caring nature extends to both people and pets alike.
Laurie
Laurie has been in the dental field since 1989 and has been a valued member of our orthodontic team since 1996. With decades of experience, she plays an essential role in supporting the financial
operations of our practice as Accounts Payable Coordinator. Laurie is known for her accuracy,
organization, and consistency behind the scenes. Her reliability, attention to detail, and long-standing commitment to the practice make her a trusted and indispensable part of our team.
Outside of the office, Laurie loves traveling, reading, and spending quality time with her grandchildren, as well as enjoying walks and time with her family and friends.
Felicia
Felicia has been part of the dental field since 1982 and has been with our practice since 2011. She brings a warm, bubbly personality to everything she does and plays an important role behind the scenes. Felicia oversees in-office marketing ideas and helps bring them to life, while also supporting
our community outreach efforts. Her creativity and attention to detail shine through in the thoughtful projects and displays you’ll see throughout the office. In her spare time, she enjoys writing and is very artistic. She has an exceptional eye for decorating and fashion. Felicia is a true asset and an integral
part of our team.
Suzanne
Suzanne has been in the orthodontic field for over 30 years. After taking some time off she has rejoined our practice which adds up to 18 + years with us! We are super excited to have her back. She has always been a special part of our ortho family. When she is not working she loves to spend time traveling with her family. Suzie enjoys the outdoors! Going camping and gardening is just a few of her favorite things to do. We love that she has a happy and positive personality that brightens everyone’s day!
Stacy, RDA, OA
found her passion in the orthodontic field in 2003. She loves witnessing the journey of patients as their confidence grows. She believes everyone should have a beautiful and healthy smile.
Outside of work, Stacy enjoys activities like swimming, biking, and gardening. Her ultimate joy comes from moments spent with her two children, Kenzie and Brody. Always having a love for animals, Stacy adopted and welcomed Maple, Cricket, and Dolly to her family. Her living and working in Concord have
proven to be an enriching and wonderful chapter in her life.
Cara
We are thrilled to welcome Cara to our team as our new Financial Coordinator! With over 25 years of experience in the banking industry, Cara brings expertise, attention to detail, and a deep commitment to financial excellence.
Outside the office, Cara enjoys relaxing with a good book, spending time tending to her garden, and uncovering hidden gems while thrifting. She also has a fun, adventurous side whether she’s ghost hunting or cruising around town in her classic 1966 VW Bug, Cara is always up for a memorable experience.
Family is incredibly important to her, and she treasures every moment spent with her loved ones. At home, she’s happily outnumbered by pets, including her two cats, Annabelle and Milo, and her dog, Allie. She’s also a proud “grand-pet parent” to grand kitties Cheeto and Kiwi, and grand-dog Cooper.
Cara has a warm welcoming nature and we’re excited to have Cara on board. She looks forward to meeting all of our patients and families and helping make their experience a positive one from start to finish!
